Dr. Dariam Cardentey is a double board-certified vascular surgeon serving the Tampa Bay area, providing comprehensive care for patients with arterial, venous, and end-stage renal vascular disease. He treats the full spectrum of vascular conditions using both open surgical and minimally invasive endovascular techniques, with a clinical focus on complex peripheral interventions for limb salvage, peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, aneurysm repair and management, dialysis access creation and maintenance, and advanced venous disorders.
Training & background
Dr. Cardentey earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine, where he built a strong foundation in clinical medicine and a lasting connection to the Tampa Bay community. He completed his general surgery residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC), gaining broad training in complex surgical care, trauma, and acute vascular disease. He then pursued advanced subspecialty training through a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville (UTMCK), where he gained extensive experience in high-volume open and endovascular vascular surgery.
